Charity Walk For Peace in Bordon attracts more than 350 walkers

More than 350 walkers took part in the 5km Charity Walk For Peace in Bordon’s Hogmoor Inclosure on Saturday and raised thousands of pounds for a record 26 East Hampshire charities. The route took walkers from the Beehive café, around the beautiful wooded inclosure, past The Shed and back to the start, where the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association provided a curry lunch for all. The joint organisers were delighted. Meer Anjum Pervaiz, regional head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association, said: “Our message is ‘love for all, hatred for none’. That’s why we are here – to support the message of peace and to support all the local charities that have taken part this year.”
