Residents of care homes around Baitul Futuh Mosque included in Eid-al-Adha celebrations

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association (AMEA), also known as Majlis Ansarullah, is an auxiliary organisation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The name “Ansarullah” is an Arabic expression mentioned in the Holy Qur’an meaning “helpers of God.” The AMEA comprises men of age 40 and over.

Recently, on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha 2021, the AMEA Baitul Futuh Regional branch gifted mangoes to the residents of three local care homes in and around Morden, namely: Manor House, Sutton Court Care Centre and Kelstone Court Nursing Home.

Dr Tayyab Mansoor, the AMEA Baitul Futuh Regional Coordinator said, “Eid-al-Adha is an important festival of the Islamic Calendar where family members and friends get together to celebrate it. Gifting mangoes was a small effort to include residents of neighbouring care homes in our Eid celebrations.”
