The Ahmadiyya Muslin Community is an organisation of locally based people who work to spread peace and harmony.
Members have presented food they collected to Slough Outreach – which was set up to help the homeless and vulnerable people in Slough, Windsor, and Maidenhead.
Ahmadiyya president Atiq Ahmad Bhatti said: “While we are all going through with the coronavirus pandemic, the Government lockdown and trying to stay safe, we must never forget the elderly and vulnerable who are open to the elements and truly need 100 per cent help and support.
“We are going to donate much much more and two weeks ago we donated 205 food items to Runnymede Council who also requested our help during these challenging times. May God protect us all from this pandemic. Stay safe.”
